Take a journey through the big and small moments when Holmegaard glass has been a central part of Danish celebration culture, when Holmegaard Værk, on the occasion of Holmegaard's 200th anniversary in 2025, presents this year's special exhibition 'CELEBRATION'.
From royal occasions to popular celebrations, intimate family moments and parties at the glassworks, 'CELEBRATION' shows how Holmegaard glass has always been a part of Danish celebrations throughout time. Focusing on five key party themes, the exhibition sheds light on different aspects of celebration culture as seen through Holmegaard glass.
Experience the celebrations of the past as if you were invited yourself as original glass sketches are complemented by posters, newspaper clippings, photographs, videos and invitations from public and private events adorn the museum's magnificent Multi Hall.

On the occasion of Holmegaard's 200th anniversary in 2025, Holmegaard Værk presents the special exhibitions 'CELEBRATION' and 'SPARK'.
While 'CELEBRATION' takes you back in time to the small moments when Holmegaard glass has been a central part of Danish celebration culture, 'SPARK' invites you to experience the Holmegaard Værk of today and tomorrow - a modern center for art, design and innovation.
Together, the exhibitions celebrate both Holmegaard's heritage and vision for the future.
