Whether you are on a bus trip, a family trip or a company outing, we can offer you a historically good experience at Næstved Museum. We offer experiences on your own or guided tours for small and large groups.

At Næstved Museum you have the opportunity to book your own tour. The tours can be general and introductory to the museums' exhibitions, but there will also be the opportunity to delve into specific exhibitions and topics - here only creativity sets the limits.

Introduction to specific exhibitions and topics
What is the situation with the Vikings from Vester Egesborg? Why is woodcarver Abel Schrøder so important to the history of Næstved? And what really characterized Jacob E. Bang as artistic director of Holmegaard Glasværk?
If you would like to know more about the exhibitions at Næstved Museum than what is on the exhibition boards, our skilled inspectors will be more than happy to tailor a tour of the museum to suit your needs and interests.
The tours can be general and introductory to the museums' exhibitions, but there will also be the opportunity to delve into specific exhibitions and topics - here only creativity sets the limits.
For example:
- Kähler's ceramic workshop - works and artists
- Holmegaard glassworks - 200 years of Danish glass history
- Introduction to Holmegaard glass and Kähler ceramics in Boderne
Price for guided tours:
- Per person for groups of 15 people or more on weekdays 70 kr.
- Per person for groups of 15 people or more on weekends/holidays 100 DKK.
- Minimum price 1,050 kr.
City walk in Næstved
Join us on a guided tour for a historical walking tour of Næstved. On the walk through the city streets we encounter the history of Næstved and sometimes Denmark.
Merchants, monks, craftsmen, soldiers and the poor - they have all left their mark on our city. Some we know by name, others are known through handed down sources.
Along the way, we jump around in history, so it's a good idea to keep your tongue in your mouth. Right where we're standing, there's a story from the Middle Ages hidden, and the next stop might be about when the railway came to town. It's all spiced up with fun quirks and anecdotes from when Grandma was a boy.
The tour can be tailored to your exact wishes, interests and needs.
