GLASSWORK AND LIFEWORK

The tour of Holmegaard Værk starts with a meeting with the glassblowers, where you can experience the transformation of the liquid material. Here, in the middle of the glass hut's historic space, generations of glassworkers have drawn stems, shaped feet and blown glass for almost 200 years.

In the modern glass workshop, you will also get a vivid insight into the process when the museum's skilled glassmakers, in collaboration with guest artists, light the kilns and continue to reshape the future.
