Step into the Glass Studio at Holmegaard Værk, where artistic ideas take shape. Here, both children and adults can create their own glass works - perhaps inspired by the sample collection's many motivations from the tour of the museum.
Our hosts are ready to guide you, help with the technique and share tips from the glass industry, so that your idea gets exactly the design you dream of.
With an annual pass to Holmegaard Værk you get free admission to historical experiences for a whole year. The pass gives you a 10% discount in the museum's design shop and on the entire menu at Restaurant Holmegaard, as well as a wide range of benefits, such as free admission to 7 other museums.
Visit Holmegaard Værk and experience Denmark's first, last and only preserved glassworks. It is here that iconic works such as the Provence bowl, the Ship glasses, the Lotus candlestick and the Blixen vase have been conceived, shaped and born. As a visitor, you will be taken on an inspiring journey through the development of the craft - from historical finds to the form of the future.
Holmegaard Værk is located in the beautiful surroundings of South Zealand on the edge of Holmegaard Mose, close to Næstved and only an hour's drive from Copenhagen.
