In the Glass Workshop you can get up close to life as a glassworker, when the museum's skilled glassblowers are ready to blow you away with spectacular glass productions every opening day from 10:00-13:00 and 14:00-16:00.

Here you can experience what it looks like when the liquid material is formed into glass.

At Glasatelieret you can be a designer for a day and decorate glass with beautiful motifs.

You can work with templates based on the many motifs in the sample collection and Holmegaard Moses' rich animal and plant life, or create completely unique designs on your own.

Like a soft border around Holmegaard Værk lies the unique Glass Village. Since the plant's very first productions, the workers have lived here to be close to the glass furnaces.

A glassmaker's working hours begin when the glass reaches the right temperature, and in the beginning, that temperature could not be controlled in this way.

On the edge of Holmegaard Værk is also Holmegaard Mose. Like the Glass City, it hides a wealth of stories about everything from archaeological finds to bog creatures.
