Explore the exhibition of glass and ceramics and see if you can recognise something from your childhood. For nearly 200 years, Holmegaard glass and Kähler ceramics have been part of the table, finding their way into our homes as functional design, packaging glass and works of art.

Here, you can encounter some of the very first milk bowls from Kähler’s early days in 1839, elegant glass created as royal wedding gifts, and unique pieces that inspire a sense of wonder in any glass lover.

Listen to the designers’ stories about inspiration from the roaring 1920s, about new stylistic movements reflected in the glass, and about working with materials that each demand their own approach. At the heart of it all is the close collaboration between craftspeople and artists – together creating the magic that shapes our shared cultural history.

200 years history in glass and ceramics

A large exhibition of Holmegaard glass and Kähler ceramics that will take your breath away. Definitely worth a visit.
