WORTH KNOWING BEFORE YOUR VISIT

Do children have to pay entrance fee?

No, children and young people under the age of 18 always have free admission to the museum when accompanied by an adult.

What payment options are available?

At the museum's reception, which covers ticket sales and the shop, you can pay in cash and with common payment cards. You can also pay online with various cards and MobilePay.

Can I bring my own food?

Yes, you are very welcome to enjoy your brought food in our cozy museum garden at the House of the Holy Spirit.

What do I do with a stroller and pram?

Næstved Museum is housed in the listed medieval house, Helligåndshuset. Unfortunately, we are unable to make all rooms easily accessible to you with strollers and prams. On the ground floor, you can get around with a stroller and pram, but you will have to leave both items on the ground floor when you move up to the other floors of the museum.

Can I bring my dog?

Only guide and service dogs are allowed at Næstved Museum. Remember to pick up any litter.

AVAILABILITY

Næstved Museum is housed in the listed medieval house, Helligåndshuset. Unfortunately, we are unable to make all rooms wheelchair-accessible. However, you can visit us on the ground floor with a wheelchair.

Everyone is welcome at Næstved Museum. We can always arrange a visit that takes into account your specific wishes or needs. If you or your family have special needs, you are always welcome to contact us by email naestvedmuseum@museerne.dk or by phone 70701236.

There is a defibrillator near Næstved Museum. You can find a defibrillator at Vinhusgade 7 (Arbejdernes Landsbank) and Axel Torv 4 (in the arcade at the entrance to Sydbank). You will also find a defibrillator at Hjultorv 2. In case of emergency, please contact the staff at the museum.

What do I do with outerwear and bags?

There are lockable lockers at the entrance. They are free to use and free of charge. We ask that you store bags in the lockers during your visit.

Where can I find the toilets?

Our restroom is free for all museum visitors. Our front desk staff will be happy to help you find your way.

Is smoking allowed in the museum?

Smoking is not allowed in Næstved Museum's indoor areas.

Smoking is allowed outside, but since we have many visitors in our garden at Helligåndshuset, we hope that you will be considerate of the other visitors.

Can I take pictures in the museum?

You may take all the photos you want for private use and your social media. However, photography, video and the like for commercial use may only be done after prior agreement with us.
