In the Royal Hall you step into one of the most defining moments in Danish history.

Around the year 963, King Harald Bluetooth decided that the Danes should be Christians. Shortly afterwards, he built the monumental ring castles, and on the Jelling Stone he had the words carved: Harald united Denmark and made the Danes Christians.

Centuries have passed since then with belief in Thor, Odin, gods and other beings from the diverse universe of the Aesir. A belief borne of rituals, sacrificial feasts and ancient traditions. Now a new god breaks through from the south: Christ.

Take us to a time when one faith replaces another. Where generations' worldviews dissolve – and a new one is born. And where power, faith and politics merge in the decision that changed Denmark forever.

BLUE- TOOTH

This is the closest thing we can get to the king who had a great impact on Denmark.
