The Viking castle Borgring is designed with a focus on accessibility for all guests.
The museum is on three levels, but there is indoor elevator access , so all exhibitions can be visited without using stairs. There are no high steps or level differences that would prevent access with a wheelchair, walker or stroller.
Toilets and disabled toilets are located in the museum's arrival area, where there is also access to a baby changing area .
It is possible to visit Borgring itself via a gravel path that starts at the museum's outdoor area . The path is approximately 1.5 km long. Please note that the walk back to the museum is uphill, which may require extra assistance for those with walking difficulties.
Pets are not allowed on the museum grounds, nor on Borgring itself. Only service dogs are allowed on the Viking Fortress Borgring, remember to pick up any litter.
Smoking is not permitted in the indoor areas of Vikingeborgen Borgring. Smoking is permitted outside, but please be considerate of other visitors – and of course remember that waste must be disposed of in the provided bins.
