GROUP VISITS
If you are visiting the Danish Castle Centre as a group of more than 20 people, you are eligible for a discount on admission. See prices.
To help us prepare for your visit – including group discounts as well as practical information such as recommended arrival times and catering options – we kindly ask you to notify the museum’s booking team in advance if your group consists of more than 20 people.

BOOK A PRIVATE GUIDED TOUR
At the Danish Castle Centre, you can book your own guided tour. Our knowledgeable guides will take you on an engaging tour of the castle grounds and/or provide an introduction to our current exhibitions.
After the tour, you can make your way to the top of the Goose Tower, where you can enjoy the beautiful view over the water and see all the way to Møn.

Introduction to current exhibitions
his introduction takes you into the dramatic world of the Middle Ages, where kings and queens shaped Denmark’s history. Discover the intrigues of power, war, and everyday life through unique finds, jewellery, weapons and stories. The introduction provides an engaging overview of the museum’s current exhibitions before you explore the past on your own.

Guided tour of the Castle
Join a guided tour of Vordingborg’s impressive castle and explore its 500-year history. Learn about the symbolism of the goose, the daily life of kings, and the castle’s rise and fall. Through captivating stories and intriguing details, the guide brings the many layers of history vividly to life.

Guided walk in Vordingborg
Discover Vordingborg’s streets and squares on a guided walk through history. Visit the city’s key locations, where the Valdemar kings made their mark – from Slotstorvet to Algade and Lilletorv. Along the way, your guide brings hidden stories to life and shows how medieval structures and symbols continue to shape the city today.
