MONSTER HUNT IN THE GOOSE TOWER

Enter the Goose Tower and discover Shane Brox's 12 ugly monsters with big emotions. Meet the love-hungry Kraken, the buzzing Beezlebub and the lonely Dragon, among others.

LET YOURSELF RUN IN THE CASTLE GARDENS

Hop around the castle grounds, take a closer look at the old ruins or visit the Historical Botanical Garden, where you can discover colorful medieval plants, smell the flowers and play hide-and-seek between the small, secret paths.

ENJOY THE VIEW FROM THE TOP OF THE GOSE TOWER

Take the trip to the top of the Goose Tower and enjoy the view like a true medieval king.

When you reach the top, the most beautiful view of Vordingborg awaits - perfect for letting your imagination fly back to the time when kings guarded their kingdom.

VISIT THE CHILDREN'S CENTERS

Let loose at the Children's Castle Center and let history come alive for the youngest members of the family. Paint, draw and create your own works or try stilts, dressing up and building games outside.

MEDIEVAL SOUVENIRS FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR ADULTS

When you have explored the power and intrigue of the Middle Ages, you can finish in the museum shop – a treasure trove full of exciting finds for children and their adults.

In the store you can find fun games, exciting books, comics and toys, so you can take a little bit of the Middle Ages home and continue playing.

THE PRACTICAL

Children and young people up to the age of 18 always have free admission to Denmark's Castle Center when accompanied by an adult.

Denmark's Borgcenter has a strong focus on accessibility. You can therefore move freely around the exhibition building and shop with prams and strollers. The two floors of the exhibition building are connected by a lift.

Gravel paths have been laid out on the castle ruins, making it easier to get around the protected castle ruins.

Unfortunately, we do not have the possibility to install a lift in the Goose Tower.

Denmark's Castle Center has set up a cozy café in the listed yellow staff building, which is the last remaining remnant of Prince Jørgen's mansion - built on the castle square in 1673.

In spring and autumn you can buy coffee, cake and cold drinks at the museum's ticket office and enjoy them in the cozy café room - or outdoors, weather permitting. In the high season the café is staffed and offers coffee/cake as well as something to satisfy the little hunger pangs.

If you are looking for a larger lunch, we are happy to refer you to the many cafes and restaurants in the city.

The café follows the museum's opening hours. It is not possible to book a table.

Food brought in may not be enjoyed in the museum, but rather in historical surroundings on our beautiful castle grounds.

Toilets are located behind the ticket office at the entrance, where there is also access to a changing area.

There is public access to the toilets at Denmark's Castle Center.
