Along Camønoen's 175 kilometers you'll find a wealth of accommodation options – from primitive shelters and tent sites to cozy B&Bs, farm stays, glamping, apartments and small hotels. Many places are located directly on the route or a few hundred meters away, so you can hike easily and settle down when you feel tired.
Each stage has its own options, and we have collected them in a clear overview so that you can quickly find a place that suits your temperament: do you want to sleep under the starry sky, wake up in an old farm, stay close to the sea or spend the night in the middle of Stege's city life?

During the high season (June–August), we strongly recommend that you book well in advance – especially B&Bs, glamping and hotels quickly become fully booked. Shelters and tent sites can often be used without a reservation, but some places require advance registration.
Yes, several shelters along the route offer free accommodation , often on a first-come, first-served basis.
Examples: Hårbølle Shelter, MØNHYTTEN Shelter site and several nature sites.
No. Camping is only allowed in places that explicitly allow it, such as MØNHYTTEN or Vilde Rosers have. Always follow local rules and be considerate of the landowners.
Yes – all accommodations in our overview are located on or close to the stages of Camønoen. You can see them distributed in the accordion under each stage.
Yes. The museum's unique city shelters give you the opportunity to sleep in the middle of Stege in the coziest surroundings. It's simple, cheap and very popular among Camønovandrere.
