Along the Camønoen route you will find ten Camønopauses – small, friendly oases created for hikers of all paces. Here you can fill your water bottle, rest your legs and meet the islanders, who are happy to share good advice, a story or a smile. At each break you will typically find a toilet, water, electricity, shelter and the opportunity to stock up or have a quick rest before continuing your hike.
The Camønopauses are located approximately a day's walk apart and act as natural stopping points on the route. Many of them also offer accommodation or are close to shelters, B&Bs and cafes.
The Camønopasset is your personal proof that you have been there. At each Camønopause you can put a unique stamp in your passport – a small mark of great experiences. It is a nice way to follow your own journey and a nice memory to take home.
