Vi inviterer dig til en særlig jubilæumsdag den 20. juni, hvor vi hylder Camønoen, naturen og de mange ildsjæle og samarbejdspartnere bag.

Dagen byder på guidede vandringer i samarbejde med Dansk Vandrelaug, musik, samtaler, debat, mad og fællesskab ved vandet på Vestmøn, dér hvor Camønoen i sin tid blev til.

JUBILÆUMSVANDRINGER

Dagen begynder med fire forskellige guidede vandringer i samarbejde med Dansk Vandrelaug - Danmarks største vandreforening med omkring 8.000 medlemmer og mere end 600 frivillige turledere. Du kan efter festdagen fortsætte de skønne ture langs Camønoen og omegn med Dansk Vandrelaug, hvor du lige nu får medlemskabet til halv pris via dette link.

Ruterne varierer i længde og tempo, så du kan vælge den tur, der passer dig bedst.

RUTE 1: Rytsebæk Strand & Grøntved Skoven, ca. 5,5 km / ca. 1,5 time

RUTE 2: Grøntvedskoven, Liseby & Strandskoven, ca. 11 km / ca. 3 timer

RUTE 3: Hjelm, Ørebæksvej & Hvide Klint, Ca. 10 km

RUTE 4: Hjelm Kobbel, kirkestier & landsbyer, Ca. 9,9 km

Når vandringerne afsluttes, fortsætter dagen i afslappede omgivelser ved No19 ved Rytsebæk Strand.

FEJRING VED VANDET

Her kan du glæde dig til jubilæumstaler, musik, debat v. Folkemøde Møn, mad og drikke, hygge og samvær ved vandet. Der vil være borde og bænke i begrænset omfang, så du er meget velkommen til at medbringe tæppe eller campingstol.

I anledning af Camønoens 10-års jubilæum inviterer Folkemøde Møn til en levende debat om natur, turisme, fællesskab og udvikling. Med Camønoen som udgangspunkt undersøger vi, hvordan natur og lokale fællesskaber kan skabe nye fortællinger om livet uden for storbyerne — og hvad resten af landet kan lære af steder som Møn.

Debatten foregår som en samtalesalon i Camønoens ånd med plads til refleksion, nærvær og nye idéer. Medvirkende er Marianne Florman, Thomas Martinsen, Tine Nygaard, Henrik Hvenegaard Mikkelsen og Ida Roed Rasmussen. Moderator er Anna Falch fra Folkemøde Møn.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION - HOW TO HAVE A GOOD TRIP

Walking the Camøno isn't difficult, but a little planning goes a long way in making the trip a little better. Here you'll cover the basics.

Packing list - the most important things to bring
  • Good hiking shoes + two pairs of socks (one thin +one thick)
  • Wind-and waterproof clothing
  • Hat/sunhat + sunscreen
  • First aid and blister patches
  • Water bottle and snacks
  • A light towel, toilet paper and basic toiletries
  • Rain cover or windbreaker
  • Powerbank
  • Map or GPS (Camøno Map recommended)
  • Sleeping bag and sleep mat, if you wish to stay overnight in a shelter
  • Bags for trash and wet clothes
Advice for new hikers
  • Hike at your own pace - the Camøno is not a race.
  • Drink plenty of water, especially on the cliff terrains.
  • Plan your stages based on mood, not ambition.
  • Stay two nights in the same location if you want to go on dayhikes.
  • Book ahead of time during high season.
  • Remember that many Camøno experiences lie between the major stops.

Welcome center for Camøno hikers with a shop, museum, Camøno Passes, cozy courtyard and the opportunity for overnight stays in the town shelter.

International art gallery in a former auto repair shop, with exhibitions, talks, concerts, and special opening hours in the summer. Around it are many works of art placed in the landscape.

GeoCenter Møns Klint
Danmark's most spectacular nature center with a 70 mio. year journey in time. A highlight for many hikers.

Teaterhøjskolen Rødkilde
Historical building, theater milieu, and a nature spot along Stege Bay.

Experience Bogø
A 13th century church, barrow, kitesurfing, forests, harbors, culture and lots of island atmosphere.

WORTH KNOWING - FAQ

How long is the Camøno?

175 kilometers, spread out over 10 stages and two shortcuts.

Are there signs along the route?

Yes, the route is clearly marked with the Camøno symbol.

Can I hike the Camøno all year?

Yes - but be aware that some overnight stay locations are only open during the summer.

Is the Camøno accessible?

Yes. There is a special disabled map with a modified route and 23 experiences that can be reached by wheelchair, car, or bike.

Can I put up my tent anywhere?

No. Only at designated camping spots and some overnighting locations (as shown along the route and on the Camøno map).

Where can I buy my Camøno map and pass?

In the Camøno shop or in Møn's Museum shop.

Can I find water along the route?

Yes, at every Camøno Pause and several of the overnight stays.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, so long as it is kept on a leash. Some overnight stay locations don't allow pets.
