Imagine being able to preserve a moment forever – not just in your memory, but as a physical work of art. During all school holidays at Holmegaard Works of Wonders, you have the chance to do just that, as our glassblowers invite you to become a glassblower for a day.

Follow in their footsteps and create your own glass masterpiece. Under expert guidance from the museum’s skilled glassblowers, you’ll try your hand at this ancient and refined craft, shaping and transforming the glowing, molten glass with your own hands.

What you create depends on the season. At Christmas, we blow glass baubles, and at Easter, we create Easter eggs. During other holidays, it might be glass spheres, drinking glasses – or something entirely different.
