USER ENGAGEMENT & DESIGN PROCESSES

Location: Holmegaard Works
Price: DKK 1,300 per class (max 28 students)
Duration: 2.5 hours
Target group: 2nd grade – 3rd grade (adapted to grade level)

Holmegaard Værk is the place for Danish consumer glass, where the designers had the consumer in focus, and it is precisely the word 'consumer' that we zoom in on in this course when we work with the concept of Persona . In the exhibition we discuss who the user could be, and why objects therefore look the way they do. In the museum's creative workshop we will use our new knowledge to create our own designs in glass. As designers, we develop products for the consumer using idea generation tools and creative exercises.

Glass items are decorated using sandblasting and engraving techniques.

Note: The course is only offered during the museum's opening hours.
